We got an alignment pit like that at work. Paint a line down one side so when you're driving a truck on, you put the edge of the tire on the side of that line. Use different color paints for different equipment. Use a laser to make sure its straight and square.

There have been heated wiper blades for decades. I first heard of them the yr after I saw rear window defrosters. Cold makes every project longer, harder to finish.

May have issues with sizing for the skid steer...... Been using them since 2010 on my snowplow truck.
